Yes. This is the most intense commercial run near Denver, and strong swimming ability is required. Every guest wears a helmet and life jacket, and the trip includes an advanced safety briefing and swim instruction. We do everything we can to maximize safety.
The half day (3 hours, $100) runs the core Class IV section. The full day (5 hours, $150, lunch included) adds more river and is best in May–June at peak flows.
A swimsuit and secure footwear (no flip-flops or Crocs). Wetsuits, splash jackets, helmets, and PFDs are provided. Bring a towel and dry clothes for after.
