We're not a theme park ride. We're a crew of passionate, elite-trained guides who live for the river — and we've been doing it longer than most.
To provide guests with an amazing whitewater rafting experience that leaves them with an appreciation of nature, stronger group relationships, and an enhanced sense of self.
Liquid Descent is a family owned and operated business. The journey began when I was 5 years old on a family vacation to the Upper Colorado River. I fondly remember the bouncing boat traveling down the river through the sunshine, making stops to soak in the hot springs and jump off the mini-cliff into the water. I knew at a young age that I wanted to make as many people as happy as I was in that moment.
Liquid Descent opened for business in 2007, and it has been our mission as a family to create a special experience for every guest. You'll notice our attention to detail in every aspect of our operation as you enjoy the best recreation Colorado has to offer.
We are experienced river professionals who love running rivers and cherish the opportunity to share that experience with others. Our guides are trained in First Aid/CPR and Swiftwater Rescue Techniques. We adhere to Leave No Trace principles and promote environmental conservation so that future generations can enjoy the great outdoors.
Every guide is swiftwater rescue certified and first-aid trained. Every piece of gear is inspected before every trip. We take risk seriously so you don't have to worry.
We run new, high-grade gear across the board — because what you wear and ride on matters.
Our guides aren't just qualified — they're the best. Experienced, fun, and genuinely obsessed with the river. They make the trip.
We obsess over every detail so that from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, every part of your day exceeds expectations.
The best-trained, best-looking guides in Colorado. Every guide swiftwater trained, experienced, and ready to give you the trip of a lifetime.
