Glenwood Canyon
The Eagle River joins the Colorado River and heads west into Glenwood Canyon, one of the most picturesque canyons in the state. The walls of the canyon tower 1,300 ft above the river as you float through gorgeous scenery and fun, splashy rapids. Recognized as one of the most scenic stretches in the the US interstate system, Glenwood Canyon stretches 12.5 miles long. Its rugged walls, rich vegetation and wildlife make it a must see for those in western Colorado.
